Kofi is an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon trained in New Zealand and Australia. He holds general and specialist registrations with the medical and dental boards of AHPRA.
He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree with honours at University of Otago, worked as a dentist for four years before completing his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree at University of Auckland. This was followed by two years working as a medical doctor in various surgical specialities.
He completed four years of advanced surgical training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at John Hunter, Canberra, Westmead and Prince of Wales Hospitals, in addition to a Master of Surgery degree through University of Sydney.
Kofi currently holds a public appointments as a surgical consultant at Westmead Hospital in NSW. He practices the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery with a special interest in oral surgery and dental implants, oral pathology, facial trauma, orthognathic and corrective jaw surgery.
