Procedure
Buttock lift is usually performed under general anaesthesia on an outpatient basis. The surgeon makes incisions under the buttock, which are invisible. Excess skin and fat are removed. Liposuction may also be done to improve the appearance of the buttocks. At the end of the procedure, the incisions are closed with absorbable sutures and a sterile dressing pad is applied. The patient is placed in a compression garment to reduce swelling and aid in the tightening of the skin. The whole procedure lasts for 2-4 hours.
